Costume necklace with a thistle design. The background is Paua shell, and can be worn the other way, for a plain shell effect. Paua shell is typically from New Zealand, and is the most colourful of the worlds abalones. As a natural product, each piece will vary slightly. A good size, at approximately 30mm diameter. Chain can be worn as 16”, 18”, or 20”.
